A mythology of Dada Saheb Phalke
In which we keep time in years, each year like a woman's saree, gathering so much into its pleats. Each year aware that it is also a lie, a false net thrown flung over the indeterminate waters called consciousness. The net composed of multiplying eyes, swims in the deep, like eyes scan the factory floor, seeking to be everywhere, wakeful of everything at once, able to tell the story that is mindful of everything.
