In which we keep time in years, each year like a woman's saree, gathering so much into its pleats. Each year aware that it is a lie, a false net thrown in a vain attempt to time consciousness. Meanwhile, like in the factories, eyes muliply, seeking to be everywhere, wakeful of everything at once.
