in 1902, Dadasaheb remarried at Baroda to Saraswati, daughter of Shankar Vasudeo Karandikar and niece of the proprietor of Kirloskar Natak Company and renowned singer –actor Bhaurao Kolhatkar (alias Bhavdya).
