1936 - 38 Making of 'Gangavataran' – Transporting the Himalayas to Kolhapur by whitewashing the Sahyadri mountain range. Dadasaheb Nimbalkar calls Phalke and plans Gangaavtaran at Kolhapur Cinetone.
1937 – Chatrapati Cinetone stops and Kolhapur Cinetone merges with Hans Pictures. At this time, Acharya Atre, V S Khandekar are working for Hans. Their Dharmavir (1937) and Brahmachari (1938) are humourous satires.
