'kaka' was an engineer till he retired. he learnt all machines- " till my time- 1984"- inside out. he makes miniature models of musical instruments now. his ambition is to gift his grand daughters, who study music with the best museum of miniature instruments, found anywhere in the world. His grandchildren's study of music gave him the impetus to make these instruments. He says they were taught so much about sur, but practically nothing about instruments.

He visits museums in his search, and sketches instruments. He then makes a miniature drawing, to scale. He locates material used in the original instrument( except ivory- he uses camel bone instead) and makes his version in the same. He tries to make every instrument sound like the original
