A.K. Warder writes strongly against over calculation of what is used where, and over definition. In his interpretation, these become closer to possibilities ( derived from generations of practice?) There are a few given uses of the angas/limbs: arrangement of selected matter; provision of incidents; making the play attractive/ragaprapti; keeping hidden what should be hidden; revealing what should be revealed; possibly giving length, a fine presentation.
