[[Sapt rishi]]: Vishvamitra, Jamadagni, Bharadvaja, Gotama, Atri, Vashishta, Kasyap, Seven wise men seated sedately in the sky, as seven stars that make the constellation of the Great Bear. [[Image:SevenRishis.jpg]] Dhundi would stare with some fear at the seven rishis in the sky. Seven bearded men suspended mid air, staring, almost unblinkingly down. Unblinking. But only one eye each? Since it never occured to him to doubt, it left an impression of something extraordinarily disfigured, ugly, frightening. Seven one eyed old men with unkempt hair, and a malevolent stare when they looked down from the sky. Dhundi would get a small frown whenever he saw them, or they were pointed out to him, he would turn his eyes away. Shiv first manifested himself as a Jyotirlinga on the night of the Aridra Nakshatra [[Image:Ball bearings planets.gif]] How do the planets keep to their places? What fills the void between them?
