In which we keep time in years, each year like a woman's saree, gathering so much into its pleats. Each year aware that it is also a lie, a false net thrown over the indeterminate waters called consciousness. The net composed of multiplying eyes, swims in the deep, like many submarines, like the eyes try to scan the factory floor, seeking to be everywhere, wakeful of everything at once.
