6 November 1922 – a fire in the west wing of the company and all the film prints, sets, props are burned down. When the film company re-starts it is with a vision to produce historical films along with mythologicals. Sinhagad, Kalyankhazina, Shahala Shaha, Sati Padmini. Savkari Paash, a realistic film was also made by Painter.
