1947 - 1950 - Master Vinayak dies, but not before introducing Lata Mangeshkar inot the film world. Other films like Jai Malhar, Ramjoshi, Ram ram Pavhna, Patlachi Por are produced in Kolhapur, and people like Raja Paranjpe, Ram Gabale and P L Deshpande, Dinkar Patil start their film career from Kolhapur films.
