i seek the ruby honey of garnets, the milk of pearls entangled

in strings of juhi; powder puffs and calamine

and sequins edging velvet doilies

in mirrored doubles;

i see

the yearning lakes of my

eyes

i seek those

who know about life and money

i know music i
